My name is
Maria Inga Hannesdottir and I have worked for over 30 years
as a teacher in Iceland, at various school levels. For the
past years I have taught over 400 people in private lessons
who wanted to improve their reading, writing and
pronunciation skills. Foreign born residents of Iceland have also turned to me in
their need to improve their Icelandic pronunciation. What my years of experience as a teacher has taught me is
that each individual has unique learning needs and everyone
deserves a special attention. I, myself, grew up moving from one country to another and
learned to read the hard way. That is one of the reasons why I developed a pronounce
Icelandic program that is understandable to all. It is
specially designed so that it can systematically help anyone
to master Icelandic pronunciation through repetitive
learning at a pace suitable to all. Below is my working experience and education background that
